These days, anyone can create a simple course at little to no cost (except their time) &#8211; especially if they choose a simple interface format such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lm-light.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">LM-Light<\/a> rather than a complex format like SCORM. <\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s an excellent (as usual) post on this subject on Tony Karrer&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/elearningtech.blogspot.com\/2009\/09\/free-learning.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">eLearning Technology blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Why is this important for security awareness training (SAT)? Because it&#8217;s already removing cost as one of the barriers to widespread adoption.
