Instructional Designing Intern

Turn dense safety & compliance regulations into engaging, high-retention learning using cognitive science and AI.

1 opening Internship · full-time path Mon–Fri Founder-led · cash-positive

Compliance training cannot just be a checkbox exercise. If a healthcare worker or food handler tunes out because a module is boring, people get hurt. You will use cognitive science to make life-saving operational information impossible to ignore — mastering the "hard to teach, harder to learn" phase.

What you'll do

01
Design for high retention

Structure critical safety, medical, and operational compliance modules based on cognitive psychology and Adult Learning Principles.

02
Beat the attention deficit

Turn dense, dry legal and technical regulations into highly engaging, interactive, bite-sized learning paths.

03
Storyboard the safeguards

Create clear, intuitive blueprints for interactive scenarios, crisis simulations, and micro-assessments.

04
Audit for impact

Continuously review existing learning paths so they meet rigid compliance standards without losing user engagement.

05
AI-enhanced scaling

Leverage AI tools to rapidly prototype complex branching scenarios and scale personalized learning paths without compromising instructional integrity.

What you bring

  • A preference for candidates currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree; high academic marks are valued.
  • An educational background or intense interest in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Education, or Communications.
  • An obsession with how the human brain processes and retains complex information under stress.
  • Familiarity with instructional tools (e.g. Articulate Rise, Storyline, Canva, Miro) is a massive plus.
  • High proficiency in prompt engineering for curriculum outlines and instructional scripts while keeping human-in-the-loop control.
  • Awareness of emerging multimodal AI generation tools (e.g. Runway, Sora, Suno).
