    OSHA can impose huge penalties depending upon the type of violation. The four types include serious, other-than-serious, failure to abate, and willful or repeated violation. For willful violation, penalties can go as high as $156,259 per violation.

    To file a complaint with OSHA, you can use the following three methods. Firstly, you can fill an online complaint form. Secondly, you can either fax, call, mail, or email your complaint. And thirdly, you can visit your local OSHA office to file your complaint in person.
